While we like to think of our restaurant and salons as the perfect rehearsal dinner location where folks come and relax before the big day, we have had brides & grooms (and bride's fathers) decide the Hotel Charlotte is an excellent location to hold the actual wedding reception, especially after comparing prices with the Awahnee in Yosemite National Park.

The Charlotte dresses up nicely for your formal event or just fun parties. We are happy to serve groups of up to 55 people and can come in with competitive pricing for full service sit-down or buffet dinners. With our very reasonable room rates, you won't go wrong.

Our brides have gotten married in Yosemite at the Chapel, in the wilderness, by some secret spot...and have made Groveland home base for friends and family. We encourage you to continue your Yosemite plans, but also look to our own Groveland locations for great beauty. Mountain Sage is a marvelous choice for a wedding and you could have the event catered onsite for 100 people. The Lake Lodge at Pine Mountain Lake is another scenic setting and allows for onsite catering.

With the new Camp Tuolumne Trails venue, soon-to-be weds have yet another option near Groveland for a stunning brand new log cabin reception location overlooking the Tuolumne canyon with Yosemite peak views. Stop by and see us as you plan your event, we would be happy to share our favorites stops with you.

"Thank you again for a wonderful weekend.  We really enjoyed our stay.  Thank you for setting up the room with flowers, champagne, and candy - my wife loved it.  We were very comfortable and can't wait to come again.  Dinner was great and you and your staff made us feel at home.  Thanks for the directions to Twist Road on our way to Black Oak Sunday.  It was a beautiful drive - almost worth what we lost at the casino. I think we'll visit yearly on our anniversary and not wait 25 years to experience Groveland and the Hotel Charlotte again.  Next time we might even go to the costume party at the Iron Door. What a great way to celebrate our 25th.  Thanks again"
