biggest Groveland event of the year,
49er Festival
and Chili Cook-off. Thousands of folks join us for a parade, auctions
raffles, kids games, chili, free concerts and oodles more. Put this
event on your calendar for a real old fashioned good time!

Our
2007 recipe research
trip took us to Bangkok, Thailand and the Blue Elephant Thai Cooking
School. We serve Thai dinners on Thursdays, through April! (Fish
dishes are head-removed) |

Groveland honors its artists with several fairs and festivals
throughout the year. Join us for the Art Strolls, May 27th, July 1st
and September 2nd. |

Ferguson Rockslide on Highway 140 last summer devastated the road.
Temporary bridges now ferry visitors across the river. |

"Hotel-Dog" Bob, in search of sunshine. This
day he finds it on the
staircase. Bob was the chief greeter of guests and player with
