Dear Friends,
Oh my! The deliciously warm weather we had this fall was
incredible...and, if I had sent this newsletter out before the holiday, we
would have reported that Tioga Pass was open. Alas, this is not the case
today.

Holiday
Parties at the Charlotte The Coldwell Banker team put
us in an early holiday mood with their December photo shoot. While the
event was a bright spot in our day, the photos were a bit dark and had
to be re-shot....But so much fun was had everyone decided to have a
holiday party at the Charlotte. Where is your holiday party this year?

Early seatings are available from 5:30. Guests will enjoy live piano by
Fred Causey and a four course menu with Ceviche, Homemade bread,

Except as noted below, we are open Thursday-Sunday, from 5:30
pm.
Christmas Eve we will
serve from our regular menu at our regular price with an option of a
traditional turkey dinner.
Christmas Day and
New Year's Day the restaurant will be closed so our staff can
enjoy the holidays with their families.
Recipe Research Trip:
January 11th-February 4th the restaurant will be closed as we seek out
new recipes from new lands far, far away. Marge & Jim will be here
running the hotel in our absence, do come and say hi!
Cabaret
Charlotte with Dennis Brown & Friends:
What an event! We sold
out three shows, entertaining some 150 friends and neighbors and we
still had a waiting list! But do not despair! Dennis and Friends are
ready to do more shows with new songs to brighten our sometimes dreary
winter! Look for announcements in the early part of the new year as we
 choose
our dates for the second half of February or March. With the
$3000 budget met on the portable sound system, the group has a new
cause! Having retired the bright blue dresses, they will be singing
their way into new formal black choir dresses for the ladies. We had a
riot, the cast had a blast and the guests were full of good food and
song....Next year promises even more! Thank you to everyone who
supported this community project!
Having traveled many of the freeways, byways and out-of-the-ways in and
beyond Groveland, we are well prepared to help plan your trip to our little
