We are surely into fall now. The mornings are crisp, afternoons warm and evenings cool. Think Layers for hiking. The weather forecast for the next couple of weeks is mild. Come enjoy Yosemite with us!
Coming up at the Charlotte:
Saturday, 11/1 Halloween, Charlotte Style. Diners will enjoy a 2 hour parade of costumed children as they grab for the best candies in the barrel. We remove the center table and tape out a path so all kids pass all tables. This is my favorite party of the year! Mayor Goose as Grand Marshall will lead the festivities at the park at 4:30. www.HotelCharlotte.com/halloween.html
Sunday, 11/1, Cabaret Charlotte with Dennis Brown & Sierra Sounds. This reprise of the Spring Show, Singing through the Decades is our last cabaret for this year. Sunday, 11/15 Quaffing the Coast: Sonoma, a Sommelier hosted dinner. Quaffing Sonoma pairs our favorite Sommelier, Nicole Darracq with Victor's great menu and a whole new region of California for us. Thanksgiving Thursday & Friday, 11/26 & 27 the Hotel Charlotte restuarant will not be open, this is a time we are off visiting our own families in the Midwest. Victor will be back in time to serve dinner on Saturday and Sunday.
The Christmas Holiday weekend falls on our regularly scheduled restaurant nights and we will be open with our regular menu and season specials
New Year's Eve we will be serving by Reservation at Camp Tuolumne Trails. Call for Ginny for details, 209-962-6336. Priced from $59 to $69 with your first glass of wine Appetizers, Salad, main course, dessert, coffee or tea, DJ Dancing, Midnight Champagne Toast, Hats & Horns, Tax & Tip all included. The best price on the Hill for the most fun!
The restaurant will be open the remainder of the New Year's weekend after which we will close for our annual Recipe Research trip. Plan on our reopening for Valentine's weekend, February 11th.
