Dear Friends,
First of all, thank you to all those who were our guests these past month, we have met some wonderful new people this season that we hope will come back again (soon & often!)

Hasn't August been a blast? This month the Charlotte hosted two Calendar Girls barely-dressed photo shoots for the Sierra Red Hats, taped a radio segment for the Yosemite Chamber of Commerce and began hosting the Rotary's weekly luncheon meeting and the weather wasn't HOT. Lots of stuff, oodles of fun!

Guide Guys Lodge, hunting & fishing in the SierrasNew Lodge: This month we started providing reservation and marketing services for the Guide Guys, a husband-wife team of California certified guides for fishing, hunting and bow hunting. When their lodge room isn't being used for a guided holiday, they make it available as a vacation rental to other travelers and families. Plan a unique getaway. 209-962-6455.

Groveland Art Stroll: Our final Groveland Art Stroll of the season is scheduled for Sunday, September 3rd. We will be hosting Art Quotient in the Hotel Charlotte, Liz Reinhard will be doing a portrait demo of Kay Glaves at the Groveland Hotel and we will have additional artists around town. This event will also have the Kiwanis hosting a family fun day in Mary Laveroni Community Park, with Judith Maguire displaying her beautiful bird pictures.  Please  join us for strolling, shopping and chatting!
