Dear Friends and Guests,
49er Festival & Chili Cook-off coming up September 15th.We always want to take a moment to thank our recent guests for their visit and let you know that we hope you will join us again if ever you find yourself heading in our direction.

Now that the 4th of July is behind us, we are well into the summer. Things in Groveland are both busy and lively! Guests are enjoying Karaoke on Thursdays and live music on the weekends at the Iron Door Saloon and we have a full calendar coming up for August events. We hope you will join us.

What's New?

Following a recent visit from Cary Ordway a syndicated travel writer who also edits the website CaliforniaWeekend.com, Yosemite, Groveland and the Hotel Charlotte and highlights of the Gold Country recieved a great bit of a write-up that has already been published in two newspapers, Sunday editions of the Monterey Herald and the Stocton Record. This is all very exciting for us!

With the success of our new menu additions, Wine of the Week and our Homemade Ice-cream flavor of the week, we will soon be serving a homemade Pasta of the week. We have just ordered the pasta making machine  and will begin custom stuffing raviolis very soon!

Winter in Yosemite

We believe that a winter Yosemite is the absolute ideal. Those of us living in California have an advatage over our fly-in visitors in that we can be flexible about our visit dates. If it snows, we wait a few days for the roads to be cleared and then head in before the snows melt to get those perfect visions of the freshly flocked granite cliffs. I have collected a few of my favorite
Winter Yosemite pictures including some from Teri Metz and posted them online. Take a look, then call us to plan your winter getaway!

Those planning fall and winter visits to Groveland and Yosemite will find our website packed with specials including free Yosemite Passes. For the best rates on future stays, call today!
