Spring is coming along with all the fun colors!

A morning Yosemite Half Dome

Don't overlook our events calendar, providing FUNtastic activities within an hour and 15 minute drive of Groveland. We have some new events this year that you might want to plan your holiday around!

Dear Friends,
April Showers Bring..... fantastic waterfalls for May, come enjoy the beauty! There is so much snow, perhaps we might even see water falling well beyond the summer!

Mountain Sage with Nursery, Crafts, Photography, Clothes, Hammock Garden, a new baby and a cute dogGroveland is looking  very "washed" this spring from all the rains. The daffodils are up in force and the tulips are just starting. Jamestown already has the poppies up, I believe ours should bloom within a week. Bright! Colorful! and Cheery! A refreshing change from all the weather we have had this year.

Upcoming Events and Hotel News:
Highway 120/Priest Grade Closure:
On April 4th, Highway 120 was closed at Moccasin for culvert repair, just too much rain and not enough maintenance. The suggested detour route has one traveling through Coulterville and Greely Hill, a 30 something mile jaunt. We prefer using Old Priest Grade, which is actually shorter than the route that is closed. Please read our descriptions before deciding which route is best for you. There is also an almost daily roads update posted on the Highway 120 Chamber of Commerce website.

We can now arrange Fly Fishing Tours! In association with Evergreen Lodge Recreation Services our guests can sign up for any of these fly fishing tours through the Hotel Charlotte and use our Stay and Play package pricing for your room on the night of your adventure. ($99 additional for a standard room with breakfast, internet, taxes & tips included)

The Hotel will remain open under the caring watch of my parents, Marge & Jim, but the restaurant will be closed. Those traveling to Groveland on May 7th will also find our restaurant closed for the evening.

▫ Guest Chef III, Italian Fiesta Tami Taurian of CabinetsNmore returns to the Hotel Charlotte for another FUNdraiser for the Groveland Hospitality & Culinary Arts Scholarship fund.
