	The Hotel Charlotte and the whole town dresses up for 4th of July with its red-white-blue bows. Any holiday is good enough reason to decorate! Take a look at our rooms, then book one!

	Groveland is full of hidden gems, and Mountain Sage is a favorite with their gallery, nursery, coffees and hammock gardens you can while away the day with a good book!
	Half dome: stunning any time of the year, but especially more so at first morning light. Yosemite is our nation's grandest park!
	Travelers to Groveland are often on a trip around California which may include a stop in San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, the Eastern Sierras....Follow our itineraries for interesting stops.
	The biggest Groveland event of the year, 49er Festival and Chili Cook-off. Thousands of folks join us for a parade, auctions raffles, kids games, chili, free concerts and oodles more. Put this event on your calendar for a real old fashioned good time!
	Our 2007 recipe research trip took us to Bangkok, Thailand and the Blue Elephant Thai Cooking School. We serve Thai dinners on Thursdays, through April! (Fish dishes are head-removed)
	Groveland honors its artists with several fairs and festivals throughout the year. Join us for the Art Strolls, May 27th, July 1st and September 2nd.
	The Ferguson Rockslide on Highway 140 last summer devastated the road. Temporary bridges now ferry visitors across the river.
