making your reservations for a picnic lunch and make a day of it!

the end of August

Yosemite Gold keeps a calendar of coming events over a broad area from
Gold Country to Yosemite.
Any day:
Ward's Ferry Road
This is an absolutely stunning road that seems to cling to the cliffside as
the view falls away to the beautiful Tuolumne river. We accidentally ended up on
this road not knowing anything about it
except that it went where we were going, Groveland. If you don't enjoy
steep and twisty routes, this won't be fun for you, but if you love feeling
all alone with with nature and wilderness, wild flowers and beautiful
scenery, this is a trip worth taking---at least once! The
Tuolumne River white water rafting haul out is at the bottom of the ravine
and makes a lovely spot for a picnic.
We have explored and shared some fun, historic
and beautiful routes that have become real guest pleasers. If you are
planning a trip this way, give us a call, make reservations and let us
know your interests and time frame, we can make some educated suggestions
that will help smooth the way in your vacation planning efforts.
