Sierra Sounds, are hanging around
and hopefully will bring us new
 shows down the road.

Cabaret 2010 Scheduled for November 7, 11 and 14!

Our 2010 Fall shows are scheduled for November 7th, 11th and 14th, 2010 with doors opening at 5:30, Show starting at 6:00. Priced at $54 these fantastic evenings of exceptional song and food continue to be a great value. Add a room with our stay & play pricing for $89 more includes breakfast the next day for 2 people, WiFi and free domestic phone calls.

About Cabaret Charlotte:
We've discovered a formula that works beautifully in our intimate dining room setting. We meet friends, neighbors and travelers over a cocktail or glass of wine, enjoy a special treat from Victor then sit for the first musical set. This is followed by an appetizer, another set of songs, soup or salad, singing, dinner, singing again, dessert and coffee and then the closing set.

A little background on our Cabaret Charlotte dinner theater productions is in order. Going back a few years I started talking to Dennis Brown, director for the Pine Cone Singers (one of his many roles) about doing a dinner show here at the Charlotte. It took a great deal of encourage-ment and visioning to get him to sign on for JUST ONE show. We selected a cast of performers from the Pine Cone Singers and ran the show as a fundraiser for the group. Each of the cast was able to pick their two favorite songs and we had a number of original ensemble medleys that opened/closed each set. The program was a hit and sold out so quickly that we added a second show and then a third before we even played the second show. That series of three performances raised $3,000 for the Pine Cone Singers.

Scheduling another set of shows was a far easier sell for the spring of 2007 and we continued the event as a fund raiser for the Pine Cone Singers and raised another $1500. We change the spring show formula to an all Broadway review, spanning the decades from 1913 to recent favorites.

Now calling themselves Sierra Sounds,  the group has turned professional which is grand! Allowing us to pay them to recognize their dedication of time, energy and talents. We are rehearsing our 6th show, have successfully sold out 14 performances and have show dates on calendar for November 7, 11 and 14 of 2010.

All of our Cabaret performances qualify for the Hotel Charlotte stay and play room pricing, just $99 more for a traditional queen bedded room with breakfast included for two people.
